Amazingly, amongst all the building and completion preparations going on, we have squeezed in the time to successfully apply to the locally based business growth grant pot, the Isles of Scilly Voucher Scheme part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. This is fabulous news as it will make a huge difference to our plans, allowing us to undertake our dreams and ambitions to get the café refurbishment complete, including more exciting children's play equipment, increased environmentally sound aspirations (solar thermal panels, rain and grey water harvesting, recycling and more), and much needed road resurfacing and other access improvements.
